Renee Heartfelt breathes new life into an old idea that's been corrupted by misuse, oversaturation, and bad records. Do you remember when post-hardcore sounded like Quicksand? It sounded exactly the way it was supposed to sound, in a very exciting way - it sounded like progression. It was music made by boys who had grown into men. These days, post-hardcore has become a catchall phrase for pop-punk in a suit.
